INSTRUCTOR DEVELOPMENT COURSE

Get a life, GoPro!

The PADI Instructor course is a passport to work in something you are passionate about in some amazing destinations around the world.  El Nido is a fantastic place to do your IDC – some of the top reasons are:

  • Deep Blue Dive Seafari offers a great and comfortable environment for your knowledge development and some amazing landscapes and underwater marine life while you are doing your practical training.
  •  We are like a family and you are welcome to join us.
  • We have a great Platinum Course Director with over 18 years of experience.

The Instructor Development Course (IDC) is made up of two parts – the Assistant Instructor (AI) course and the Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program. Most dive professionals complete the entire IDC and go on to attend an Instructor Examination (IE), which is the final step to earn a PADI Instructor certification, here at DEEP BLUE and with the wide experience of our Platinum Course Director and part of the DIVECAREERS Team, Se(BAS)tian van Riemsdijk we will make sure you will reach the examination with a success guaranteed.

Get ready to travel to some amazing places, meet some really cool people and at the same time teach others how to SCUBA dive and share your passion.  Your students will follow you and you may become a mentor to some of them.

It is an amazing lifestyle… are you joining us?…

Bas says

“Since I started diving almost 20 years ago in Greece I thought already that the underwater world is the best place to be! After becoming a Dive Master and Instructor in Dahab I was loving to sharing my passion with all my students and showing them the beauty of the sea. Now being part of Dive-Careers training candidates so they can do the same with their students is fantastic. It is great to be able to teach in so many different locations and meet so many people around the globe. And again we are not only teaching the IDC’s, Dive-Careers has also a very big network for employment after the IDC. So it’s fun to see that so many of you candidates are working in a lot of places around the world.

Being a Course Director is great but being able to work as a Course Director in Thailand, South Africa, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Italy and India that is fantastic and we are not done yet!!!!!! Being trained by the best I can say that working for and with Dive-Careers is by far my best career.
