Deep Blue Dive Seafari, Inc. offers different types of Scuba Diving Services like: teaching all PADI Courses and Programs from Open Water to IDC, organizing and operating Dive Seafaris in the Northern Palawan Area and Fun Dives in El Nido, Bacuit Bay. It was founded by Jose Eduardo A. Calzadilla, Diana A. Calzadilla, Robert R. Luzon and Siony T. Luzon back in September 10, 2012. We began as a small dive center and have managed to establish ourselves as a reputable and successful PADI Resort in April 2013 and PADI 5 Star Resort in February 2015. We recently obtained our PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Dive Resort Accreditation. Come Scuba Diving with us in Palawan.

Hola! I am one of the owners in Deep Blue Dive Seafari, General Manager and also a PADI MSDT. I’ve been here in El Nido since 2009 together with my wife Diana. I am still teaching PADI courses but my focus now is on the Business Operation. I make sure we keep a high company image and that we operate in a safe, professional, and honest manner – with our staff, our guest and students. To further Deep Blue Dive Seafari’s reputation, I maintain a good relationship with other dive centers and businesses in the community. I am very proud of Deep Blue Seafari team and all their efforts and professionalism that have helped us achieve our success and the rating of PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Resort. Hello! My name is Diana. I am one of the owners of Deep Blue Dive Seafari, Marketing Director and a PADI Assistant Instructor. I worked in Tubbataha Reef on 2012 for the whole season as a Divemaster on a Live aboard and also guided our divers in Deep Blue Seafari Dive trips in Bacuit Bay, Calamianes and El Nido-Corn. As the Marketing Director my responsibilities now include making a sound marketing plan and strategies. I would like to reach more guest, promote our services so more people get to experience Scuba Diving in El Nido and Palawan. Hi! My name is Robert. I am one of the owners in Deep Blue Dive Seafari and Boat Manager for Deep Blue Dive Seafari dive boats MM2 and MM3. My responsibility is to make sure that our Dive Boat is always well maintained, clean and most important its safety. I believe our dive boats are a great asset to the Dive Operation and one of the things that makes us different from other Dive Centers. I design the boat based on the diver’s needs for scuba diving, organization of the equipment, comfort of our guest and safety -taking in consideration our dive environment and weather conditions in Palawan.
Hi! My name is Siony. I am one of the owners and the Corporate Secretary for Deep Blue Dive Seafari Inc. My responsibilities are making sure we have all legal permits with the Nido Municipality and that we keep good corporate records with SEC. I also like to assist with the Dive Boat crew and join them sometimes on the dives in Bacuit Bay.

Hi! My name is Abby. I am a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and Dive Operation Manager. I teach PADI Courses, follow proper standards and make sure my students are safe and enjoying their training. I love to show macro aquatic life to my students so they learn that there are some amazing, but small, creatures that exist under the sea. This encourages my students to practice good buoyancy and protect the fragile reefs. I work with all PADI Dive Instructors, Assistant Instructors and Divemaster in regards to Standards, Safety, Scheduling of Courses and Programs and logistics. Every evening I assign a Boat Master and make sure all our emergency kits are in order.
Hi! My name is Sebastian. I was born in Chile, and there I first discovered the wonders beneath the sea. I left my country to discover new cultures and I became a PADI Dive Instructor and I can teach 7 different specialties. I love to share my experiences to people about the wonders of our oceans and educate them regarding marine life. I am certified as a full cave diver and instructor for people with disabilities; these two certifications complement my personal goals and require me to control all aspects of diving in order to develop them safely. After 18 years of diving and enjoying almost 10 years teaching I still have my motivation and passion for the sport that became my lifestyle. One of my duties in Deep Blue is equipment and repair maintenance.
Hi! They know me as Tokoy and I am a PADI Assistant Instructor and Head Dive Master of Deep Blue Dive Seafari Inc. My goal is to do my IDC in 2016 and become and in-house PADI Instructor. Aside from guiding, I also assist PADI instructors in conducting training programs and activities for certified divers. I am originally from El Nido and I have a really good knowledge of all our Dive Sites. I really enjoy showing our guest all the underwater beauty of Palawan and we do everything as best as we can as part of our great service in Deep Blue Seafari.
Hi! My name is Joel and I am also an In-house Dive master in Deep Blue Dive Seafari. I worked as a Boat Captain and I am very knowledgeable of all dive sites and the weather conditions here in El Nido. I help the managers and the captain to make decision in regards with the dive trips based on sea and weather conditions. I’d like to be professional to my guest when it comes to diving and be very safety conscious.
Hi! My name is Romeo. I am a PADI Divemaster and I am also from El Nido. I really enjoy reactivating the divers’ theory and skills of those who have not dive for many years. I assist other instructors when needed with logistics, courses and equipment. I’ve been diving for many years and until now I am passionate about my work. As a local I am very knowledgeable of all marine aquatic life in El Nido and where to find many of the macro species which is one of the highlights of Bacuit Bay. I am always organized and give information to my diver’s throughout the day so they are informed. I love to give detail briefings and debriefings of our dives and the marine life we encountered. I make sure that they are having fun diving with me while adhering to all safety standards.

Hi! My name is Dave and I am the Captain of Deep Blue Dive Boat MM3. I am very safety conscious and understand that the safety of our crew and guest is my responsibility; I also help the guest to set up their equipment and assist them during their entry and exits of the dive. I like to keep a tight ship so guest is comfortable.
Hi! My name is Jeff and I am the chef. As customer service is one of our top priorities, I always make sure that I give healthy and delicious food to our guest. I also cater to especial diets like vegetarian, vegan or food allergies. It will always make me happy if I see my guest enjoying the food I cook. I handle all food properly to avoid contamination and I am proud of all the comments that our guest made on their reviews about the food aboard in MM3 and their dive trips with us.
Hi! My name is Richard and filling tanks and giving our divers clean/fresh air is my responsibility. I am also a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and I am doing my EFR and PADI Rescue Course and now. i join as a Safety Diver when Dive Masters need my help to make sure everyone is safe and comfortable. My goal is to become a PADI Dive Master with Deep Blue Dive Seafari. Hi! My name is Zoren. My duties include cleaning all our Dive Gear and assisting our Equipment Technician fixing all our SCUBA gear. I would like to get my Equipment repair certification soon. I also cook in the boat when our chef is off duty, or help the compressor operator refill the tanks. I love scuba diving and I am now a PADI Open Water Diver.
